Located on the southern edge of the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area, the City of Venus offers a City Administrator an opportunity to provide mentorship and guidance to a community at a critical crossroads in their history. The City Council sees the need for comprehensive long-range planning in order to prepare the necessary infrastructure for future development and seeks a growth minded, innovative leader to improve communication and bring stability to the community.
The City of Venus is on the eastern edge of Johnson County, directly south of Dallas with a rapidly increasing population of over 6,700 as the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex moves south.
