With a population of 127,000, the City of Lewisville, Texas is a high-quality community, located 26 miles northwest of downtown Dallas along Stemmons Freeway (Interstate 35E). Lewisville is located in southeast Denton County, one of the most dynamic growth areas in the nation. State Highway 121 bisects the community and gives Lewisville easy access to Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport located just ten minutes south of Lewisville.
Adjacent to the city, Lewisville Lake is a recreational gem and is surrounded by 9,000 protected acres of nature and spans 29,000 acres with 233 miles of shoreline. The lake is immensely popular for water sports and outdoor recreation and hosts a multitude of activities such as fishing, boating, and miles of scenic hiking and bike trails.
