The next Public Works Director will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with the City Manager and staff to deliver critically important infrastructure projects to the community. The City of Riverbank is in the initial stages (15%) of planning a $87 million project to upgrade its wastewater treatment plant from a secondary system to a tertiary treatment plant with a recycled water component. Completion and delivery of this exciting project will be the responsibility of the next Public Works Director and will provide a career-defining project.
